Sport in Society
The Sport in Society programme will be developed and delivered in Wales with collaboration from our partner organisation, Northeastern University Boston.

Urban Youth Sports

This will form the core element of the Sport in Society programme.
It will work to promote the health and well being of local youth through sport and physical activity. It will provide the initial point of contact with local and community groups. Following this engagement the elements below will dovetail into the programme so as to have a focus on to social issues identified by our partners or community agents.

The Mentors in Violence Prevention (MVP) Program

Local mentors to play a central role in solving problems that historically have been considered "women's issues": rape, battering, and sexual harassment.
It will encourage young men to work actively on these issues.
Citizenship

Members pledge to reduce the amount of prejudice and violence in their communities by completing a minimum of two projects. Projects vary. They may choose to create an information newsletter in their community. Or a project that looks at the working of the Regional and Local governments.  Members completing at least two projects then qualify for our Citizenship Human Rights Awards handed out annually by Clubs for Young People Wales
 Healthy Communities

Local mentors will facilitate projects that focus on drug & solvent abuse, well-being, and teenage pregnancy.
